The SF834S at a glance

In the photos the Salvatore Ferragamo SF834S is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as injected propionate. How it fits

It measures 55-18-140, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. At 55 mm across the lens this is a large frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

Through the lens
