What the SF2002S is

The photos show a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame. Salvatore Ferragamo files this colourway as code 024.

Size and fit

Written on the inside of the temple as 55-18-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

What the lens does

Lens colour: blue. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
