Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Colour 013 is how Salvatore Ferragamo labels this version.

Reading the size

Written on the inside of the temple as 56-18-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 56 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.

What the lens does

The lenses are blue grey. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
