The SF1040SCP at a glance

Seen front on, this is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. Acetate temples complete the frame. The colour code is 020, Salvatore Ferragamo's own name for this finish.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 55-19-150, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 55 mm across the lens this is a large frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

Lens colour and finish

Lens colour: grey. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
