A closer look at the HD00032
Seen front on, this is the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. It has acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the straight high brow bar. Colour 02B is how Harley Davidson labels this version.
The numbers on the temple
The size is 54-17-145: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 54 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
Through the lens
Lens colour: smoke gradient. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. Polarization and UV rating are not in the supplier's data for this pair, so neither is claimed here.
Other colours of the HD00032
We also carry the HD00032 as 09X (Matte Gunmetal with blue mirror lenses), the same frame in other finishes.
From the supplier's shelf to your door
The pair is new and authentic Harley Davidson, and the box, case and cloth are the brand's own where Harley Davidson includes them. Free shipping to any US address: the supplier packs it within one to two business days and you get the tracking number by email. Unworn pairs in their packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery, refund less the return label; defects, wrong items and transit damage are returned free when reported within 7 days.
