The GG2052S, front to temple tip
The photos show a squared-off take on the aviator, with a flatter brow and straighter sides. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a double-bar bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with mixed metal and acetate temples. The branding sits on the lens. The detail that stands out is the gold-tone horsebit detail on temples. Gucci files this colourway as code 010.
