The GG0740S, front to temple tip
What you get is the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is metal, per the supplier. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. Colour 002 is how Gucci labels this version.
The numbers on the temple
It measures 61-15-135, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 61 mm is extra large for a sunglasses frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
What the lens does
Blue lenses are fitted. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
