The GG1951S at a glance
What you get is a geometric front with angled edges. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the metal interlocking logo on temple. The colour code is 005, Gucci's own name for this finish.
