A closer look at the GG1021S
The photos show a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. It has metal temples with acetate tips. Gucci files this colourway as code 002.
Size and fit
The size is 56-19-135: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 56 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
Through the lens
