The ZS23713S, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a round lens. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a keyhole bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. Look for the blue and silver striped end pieces. Zeiss files this colourway as code 240.
Reading the size
It measures 53-19-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 53 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.
Through the lens
Grey gradient lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
Other colours of the ZS23713S
Other versions of the ZS23713S on GlareBear: 220 (Brown Blue Havana with blue lenses) and 001 (Black with grey gradient lenses). The fit does not change between them.
Shipping and returns, plainly
The pair is new and authentic Zeiss, and the box, case and cloth are the brand's own where Zeiss includes them. Our supplier ships it free to US addresses, usually within one to two business days, with tracking by email. Change your mind within 30 days and send it back unworn in its box; the return label we email is deducted from the refund. A defect, wrong item or damage on the way is returned free if reported within 7 days.
