ZS24720SLP: shape and build
Seen front on, this is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. Zeiss files this colourway as code 466.
