The FT1155, front to temple tip

Seen front on, this is a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as plastic, though in the photos the front looks like acetate. It has acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the gold-tone t logo at hinges. Colour 01A is how Tom Ford labels this version.

Will it fit?

The size is 60-20-135: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 60 mm across the lens this is a extra large frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.

Lens colour and finish

The lenses are smoke. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
