The SANTPERE8736/75, front to temple tip

The photos show a round lens. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The feed gives the material as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. The branding sits on the lens. Its signature is the thin wire frame design. The colour code is 7100, Silhouette's own name for this finish.

The numbers on the temple

Written on the inside of the temple as 52-19-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 52 mm across the lens this is a medium frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

The grey gradient lenses

Grey gradient lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
