SL902: shape and build
Seen front on, this is a curved wraparound front that follows the face. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the chunky curved frame. Saint Laurent files this colourway as code 017.
