What the SL766 is
What you get is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. Colour 001 is how Saint Laurent labels this version.

Written on the inside of the temple as 57-17-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 57 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own.
