The SL737MICATHIN, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as recycled acetate. Recycled acetate is the same sheet-cut material as standard acetate, made with recycled content; it holds colour well and an optician can adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the tortoiseshell pattern. Saint Laurent files this colourway as code 002.
