SL651VITTI: shape and build

In the photos the Saint Laurent SL651VITTI is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is recycled acetate, per the supplier. Recycled acetate is the same sheet-cut material as standard acetate, made with recycled content; it holds colour well and an optician can adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the silver metal accents at front corners. Colour 001 is how Saint Laurent labels this version.

Size and fit

It measures 58-17-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. At 58 mm across the lens this is a large frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.

Lens colour: black. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
