The SL280, front to temple tip
The photos show a squared-off take on the aviator, with a flatter brow and straighter sides. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a double-bar bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the straight metal brow bar. Saint Laurent files this colourway as code 003.
Size and fit
It measures 59-15-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres.
