What the SL720 is
In the photos the Saint Laurent SL720 is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. Colour 003 is how Saint Laurent labels this version.
How it fits
Written on the inside of the temple as 48-23-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 48 mm across the lens this is a small frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.
What the lens does
Grey lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. Polarization and UV rating are not in the supplier's data for this pair, so neither is claimed here.
Other colours of the SL720
The SL720 is also listed here as 001 (Shiny Black with grey lenses). Shape and size are the same; only the finish changes.
In the box, and getting it to you
The pair is new and authentic Saint Laurent, and the box, case and cloth are the brand's own where Saint Laurent includes them.
