SP945458: shape and build

Seen front on, this is a single shield lens across the whole face. It has no rim at all: the bridge and temples mount straight onto the lenses. Our supplier lists the frame as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. Rudy Project files this colourway as code 0002.

Will it fit?

Shields are measured differently: the single lens spans about 150 mm and there is no separate bridge figure, which is why makers list the bridge as 1 mm. The temples are 130 mm. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.

Through the lens

The lenses are rose gold mirror. A coloured tint like this is chosen for its look as much as for shade. A mirror coating that hides the eyes and throws glare back. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
