The MU11ZSF, front to temple tip

The photos show a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. The branding sits on the lens. The detail that stands out is the gold metal logo detail at hinges. The colour code is 16K07O, Miu Miu's own name for this finish.

How it fits

Written on the inside of the temple as 52-15-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 52 mm across the lens this is a medium frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

What the lens does

Olive green lenses are fitted. A green tint sits between grey and brown: natural colour with a touch more contrast. An even, flat tint. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.

Nothing is opened or handled before you: a new Miu Miu pair in the brand's own packaging, with case and cloth when the brand includes them. Shipping inside the US is free; the supplier packs it on business days, normally within two, and emails tracking. Change your mind within 30 days and send it back unworn in its box; the return label we email is deducted from the refund.
