MARC761/S: shape and build
The photos show a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with wide acetate temples. The branding sits on the lens. The detail that stands out is the gold-tone logo hardware on wide temples.
