A closer look at the KC1381

The photos show a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. Kenneth Cole Reaction files this colourway as code 01B.

Reading the size

The size is 59-17-145: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 59 mm across the lens this is a extra large frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.
