The KC1304, front to temple tip

Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. Acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge complete the frame. Colour 52F is how Kenneth Cole Reaction labels this version.

Size and fit

It measures 57-18-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. A 57 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

The brown gradient lenses

Brown gradient lenses are fitted. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
