The ANNORA/P/S, front to temple tip

The photos show a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the gold spade logo on temple hinge. Kate Spade files this colourway as code 0QOPRA.

The numbers on the temple

It measures 54-18-130, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 54 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

The grey polarized lenses

The lenses are grey polarized. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. They are polarized, per the supplier's lens description: reflected glare from wet roads and water is cut down.

What you get, and how it ships

New stock, not display pieces: each pair comes sealed in Kate Spade's packaging with the brand's case and cloth where supplied. The supplier ships on business days, free to US addresses, normally within two days, and tracking follows by email.
