A closer look at the DALIA2/S

The photos show the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a double-bar bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The feed gives the material as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. The frame is finished with acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the pink rim coating with colorful inner temple pattern. Colour 0AZVI4 is how Kate Spade labels this version.

The numbers on the temple

Written on the inside of the temple as 58-12-135, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 58 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

What the lens does

Lens colour: blue gradient pink. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.

Same frame, other colourways

We also carry the DALIA2/S as 0YB7F8 (Silver/Dots with grey gradient lenses) and 094RHA (Gold Pattern Beige with brown gradient lenses), the same frame in other finishes.
