The JAC/4 at a glance

Seen front on, this is an oval lens, softer than a round one. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has wide acetate temples. Jacquemus files this colourway as code C10.

How it fits

The size is 55-17-135: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

Through the lens

Plum gradient lenses are fitted. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.

In the box, and getting it to you

Every pair is brand-new and sold as authentic Jacquemus, in the brand's packaging with the case and cloth where Jacquemus includes them. Our supplier ships it free to US addresses, usually within one to two business days, with tracking by email. Any pair can come back within 30 days of delivery, unworn and in its packaging; we email the label and deduct its cost from the refund. Defects, wrong items and transit damage go back free within 7 days.
