What the JAC/58 is
The photos show a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. Jacquemus files this colourway as code C2.
How it fits
Written on the inside of the temple as 55-15-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
Through the lens
