The HG1297/S, front to temple tip
In the photos the Hugo HG1297/S is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples. The colour code is 0MNGT4, Hugo's own name for this finish.
Will it fit?
It measures 54-19-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 54 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
The silver mirror lenses
The lenses are silver mirror. A mirror coating that hides the eyes and throws glare back. The supplier's data carries no polarization or UV rating for this pair, so we claim none.
