A closer look at the GF0410

What you get is a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier's data says metal for the frame, while the photos read as a mix of metal and acetate. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the tortoiseshell brow accent. Colour 32F is how Guess Factory labels this version.

Reading the size

Written on the inside of the temple as 59-18-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 59 mm is extra large for a sunglasses frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

Through the lens

The lenses are brown gradient. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
