The DJ7040, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a double-bar bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The frame material is metal, per the supplier. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. It has mixed metal and acetate temples. Colour 001 is how Draper James labels this version.
