DJ7063: shape and build
Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. Colour 505 is how Draper James labels this version.
Size and fit
Written on the inside of the temple as 56-17-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 56 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.
Through the lens
Rose brown lenses are fitted. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
