Seen front on, this is an oversized square front that covers a lot of face. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. The colour code is 60B0, Dior's own name for this finish.
