A black rim around one lens
The Flaglab 17 in this colour is black all the way round the lens. A thick, glossy rim wraps the whole front and dips into a rounded notch for the nose, and the lens sits behind it as a single sweep rather than two circles. At the top centre CARRERA is printed in gold-yellow capitals, and a thin dark line drops straight down from beneath the wordmark. There are no nose pads: the frame itself rests on the nose.
Two studs, a row of ovals
On each side, close to the hinge, a pair of small gold studs breaks up the black. The arms behind them are flat gold-coloured metal with a row of oval cut-outs. They end in black tips, and each tip finishes in an open loop rather than a point. On the inside of the black arm the name is printed again.
What the 1 stands for
The feed gives the size as 99-1-140. On a normal frame those would be lens width, bridge and arm length. Here the 99 is the width of the one lens, the 1 is a stand-in because there is no bridge between two lenses, and the 140 is the arm length. Only that last figure can be compared directly with your current sunglasses; the front will be far wider than a typical pair.
Black, brown and green on the label
The supplier lists the lens as Black Brown Green Antireflex. In our photos it looks brown with an olive cast, darkest across the top and lighter toward the bottom. The word Antireflex comes from the supplier with no detail behind it, and no polarization or rating is listed, so we repeat the wording and claim nothing more.
Beside the white gold pair
The same model is also in our shop as 0B4E08, an ivory-white acetate rim with a blue gradient lens. Shape and sizes match; only the rim colour and the lens differ.

What does Black Brown Green Antireflex mean for the lens?
That is the supplier's own description. In our photos the lens is a brown with an olive cast that is darker at the top. The supplier gives no further detail and no polarization or rating, so we cannot say more.
Is the 1 in 99-1-140 a mistake?
No. It stands in for the bridge, which a single-lens front does not have. The 99 is the lens width and the 140 is the arm length.
