No frame around the lens
The 1075/S is a rimless shield. One lens runs straight across the face, with a dead-flat top edge and square lower corners, and nothing wraps its sides or bottom. A faint pinkish tint shows along the upper edge in our photos. CARRERA is printed in small gold letters near the upper outer corner, with a smaller line of text beneath it.
An arch over the nose
At the centre of the lens sits a gold-tone arch, held on by four small screws: two along its top and one at each lower end. Clear nose pads hang beneath it on thin metal arms.
Gold hinge blocks, tortoise arms
At each side the lens is gripped by a gold-tone block with CARRERA raised along it and two small loops reaching the lens edge. Behind the block the arms change to a tortoise pattern, brown with amber mottling, and finish in a downward curl behind the ear. The supplier lists the frame material as metal and gives no breakdown, so we describe the arms only as they look.
Why the bridge reads 01
The size is written 99-01-145. A 99 mm lens would be enormous on a normal frame; here it is the width of the single pane. The 01 is a placeholder, since no bridge sits between two lenses. The number you can compare with your current sunglasses is the 145, the length of each arm. Expect a front much wider than a typical two-lens pair.
Burgundy on the label, brown in the photos
The supplier lists the lens as Gold Mirror Burgundy Gradient. In our photos it reads as brown, deepest along the top and fading to clear toward the bottom edge, and we do not see a strong mirror effect, so the supplier's name is what we list. The supplier gives no polarization or other rating for this pair, so we claim only the tint.
Colour code and other colours
The supplier's code is 006JYK, reads as a leading zero followed by 06J and YK. Listings for other Carrera models space such codes, as 06J YK. This is the only 1075/S colour in our feed, so there is nothing to compare it with here.
Ordering, keeping, returning
US shipping costs nothing, and the supplier usually sends the pair within one to two business days with tracking by email. You have 30 days from delivery to return it unworn and in its packaging; the label cost comes off the refund. A defective pair, the wrong pair or transit damage goes back free if you tell us within 7 days.

Questions about the Carrera 1075/S Gold Havana
What kind of frame is the Carrera 1075/S?
A men's rimless shield: a single flat-topped lens about 99 mm wide, a gold-tone arch over the nose, gold hinge blocks and tortoise-pattern arms. This page is color 006JYK, Gold Havana.
Why does the size say 99-01-145?
The 99 is the span of the one lens, the 01 is a placeholder because a single-lens front has no bridge, and the 145 is the arm length, which is the figure to compare with other glasses.
How is the lens held without a rim?
In our photos the lens is held at the sides by the gold hinge blocks and at the centre by the small arch, which is fixed with four screws. Nothing frames the top, bottom or ends of the lens.
Is the lens burgundy or brown?
The supplier lists Gold Mirror Burgundy Gradient. Our photos show a brown that fades to clear at the bottom, so expect a warm brown-burgundy cast rather than a bright mirror.
Will a shield this wide suit my face?
It is a wide, flat front that sits like a visor, so it covers more of the face than a normal pair. If it turns out to be too much, it can be returned unworn within 30 days.
Do the lenses have a rating or polarization?
Our supplier lists none, so the page claims no polarization and no rating, only the burgundy gradient tint.
Is it a genuine Carrera, and what is in the box?
Yes: a new pair sold as authentic Carrera, in the brand's packaging with the case and cloth Carrera supplies for the model. GlareBear is an independent store with no tie to the brand.
How soon does it ship, and what if I send it back?
Shipping inside the US is free and tracking comes by email once the supplier dispatches it. Unworn pairs in their packaging can come back within 30 days of delivery, minus the cost of the label we email you.
