What you get is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Colour 209 is how Calvin Klein labels this version.

Written on the inside of the temple as 52-20-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 52 mm across the lens this is a medium frame. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.

Lens colour and finish

The lenses are brown. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
