An aviator in thick black acetate
The BV1274S keeps the teardrop aviator outline but cuts it from heavy, glossy black acetate rather than wire. The rims are deep, the brow is broad, and the lower edge of each lens drops into the usual aviator curve. The acetate is a plain shiny black with no pattern, so the shape and the two metal details do the talking.
The double bridge with a window
Across the top, an acetate bar joins the two rims. Below it a slim silver metal bar runs between the lenses, and the space between the two bars is left open as a small triangle. It is the detail that reads from a distance and the easiest way to recognize this model.
Mustard lenses
