What you get is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has no rim at all: the bridge and temples mount straight onto the lenses. It rests on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The feed gives the material as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. It has metal temples with acetate tips. The colour code is 003, Balenciaga's own name for this finish.
