What the AA0070S is
Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the angular cat-eye silhouette. Azzedine Alaïa files this colourway as code 001.
