The AF00034, front to temple tip

Seen front on, this is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The supplier lists the frame material as plastic; in the photos the front has the look of acetate. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding sits on the lens. Look for the a&f logo print on upper lens corner. Colour 01V is how Abercrombie & Fitch labels this version.

Size and fit

It measures 55-17-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 55 mm is large for a sunglasses frame. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.

Through the lens

The lenses are blue. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. A light tint. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
