The AF00019 at a glance

What you get is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding is printed inside the temple. Its signature is the tortoiseshell acetate temples with gold-tone metal hinges. The colour code is 33F, Abercrombie & Fitch's own name for this finish.

Reading the size

Written on the inside of the temple as 58-17-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 58 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

The brown gradient lenses

Lens colour: brown gradient. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
