The VO5625S at a glance

In the photos the Vogue VO5625S is an oval lens, softer than a round one. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge complete the frame. Vogue files this colourway as code W44/2.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 52-18-135, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 52 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

Lens colour and finish

Lens colour: green. A green tint sits between grey and brown: natural colour with a touch more contrast. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.

Shipping and returns, plainly

New stock, not display pieces: each pair comes sealed in Vogue's packaging with the brand's case and cloth where supplied. Shipping inside the US is free; the supplier packs it on business days, normally within two, and emails tracking. Change your mind within 30 days and send it back unworn in its box; the return label we email is deducted from the refund. A defect, wrong item or damage on the way is returned free if reported within 7 days.
