The VE2232, front to temple tip

In the photos the Versace VE2232 is the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The supplier lists the frame material as metal; in the photos the front has the look of a mix of metal and acetate. Mixed metal and acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the gold clips around white rims. Versace files this colourway as code 147187.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 61-18-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 61 mm lens puts it in the extra large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

What the lens does

Lens colour: dark grey with neck strap. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
