The TH2155/S at a glance

The photos show a geometric front with angled edges. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the gold th monogram logo on temple. Tommy Hilfiger files this colourway as code 0807IR.

Size and fit

It measures 52-20-140, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. At 52 mm across the lens this is a medium frame. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

Through the lens

The lenses are dark grey. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
