A closer look at the TH2126/S

What you get is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. The colour code is 0KB7KU, Tommy Hilfiger's own name for this finish.

Size and fit

The size is 48-22-150: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 48 mm across the lens this is a small frame. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.

What the lens does

The lenses are green. A green tint sits between grey and brown: natural colour with a touch more contrast. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
