A closer look at the TH2105/S

Seen front on, this is a geometric front with angled edges. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the patterned inner temples. Tommy Hilfiger files this colourway as code 0086GB.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 54-17-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 54 mm across the lens this is a medium frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

The grey azure lenses
