SK6056U: shape and build
What you get is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame. Swarovski files this colourway as code 103887.
Size and fit
It measures 50-21-135, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 50 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
What the lens does
