The SK6018, front to temple tip

The photos show a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with mixed metal and acetate temples. The colour code is 100187, Swarovski's own name for this finish.

The numbers on the temple

The size is 52-18-135: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 52 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.

What the lens does

Dark grey lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
