The SF2032S, front to temple tip

In the photos the Salvatore Ferragamo SF2032S is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the gold-tone metal strip on temples. Salvatore Ferragamo files this colourway as code 001.

Will it fit?

The size is 55-19-140: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

The smoke lenses

Lens colour: smoke. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.

In the box, and getting it to you

You get a new pair in Salvatore Ferragamo's own box, with whatever case and cloth the brand supplies. Within the US it ships free, usually one to two business days after you order, and the tracking number is emailed to you. Change your mind within 30 days and send it back unworn in its box; the return label we email is deducted from the refund. A defect, wrong item or damage on the way is returned free if reported within 7 days.
