What the SL692 is
Seen front on, this is an oval lens, softer than a round one. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The frame material is metal, per the supplier. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. Colour 002 is how Saint Laurent labels this version.
How it fits
Written on the inside of the temple as 55-19-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 55 mm is large for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
Lens colour and finish
Lens colour: grey. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
